Thanksgiving Soon Means New Year's Eve is Getting Closer!

I realized today that Thanksgiving is almost here, and in less than two weeks, I will be enjoying some delicious turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn, and a variety of other delicious treats, plus of course some great football games as I struggle to stay awake after I finish my meal.

Not too far in the future after my mega-calorie day, the new year will be upon me.  Once again, it will be time to dive into the mad whirlpool of trying to figure out which venue to celebrate my NYC New Year's Eve at.

There are so many options, and even though it is nice to have an easy to use resource to view all of the parties and such at, the list is a bit overwhelming.  Also, tickets to the NYC New Year's parties are surprising expensive, especially for someone who is not used to New York City prices.  Besides that, if you really want VIP access and service, you should expect to pay even more.

Someone asked me the other day if the cost of partying for New Year's in NYC is worth it, and I have to  say that it is.  If for no other reason, there is something about being in the city that you grow up watching on television as the center of the celebration in the United States.  Atlanta may have the peach drop, but as for me, the apple dropping at Times Square is where the heart of New Year's will always be.  Celebrating in New York City just cannot be beaten!
